Hi! We are Brent and Josh! Between us, we have 35 years of experience in HVAC. In 2019, we decided it was time to raise customer service awareness and build customer confidence to create a meaningful, impactful HVAC experience.

 

We wanted to provide a professional, personal experience for every customer. The person that visits your home to provide options for sales is often the same person installing the system. This method of sales, service, installation, maintance, and follow up brings a unique, full circle experience to each of our customers.

Our Story

Comfort Matters is the result of passion for the HVAC craft and providing a personalized customer service experience. In 2019 after working for different HVAC companies and experiencing different business models and operations for many years, Brent and Josh felt that they had developed the right recipe for customer satisfaction, the Comfort Matters Heating and Cooling dream was born.

 

"We gathered our money and purchased an old dodge van for $1,400 and the dream began. It wasn't pretty but it worked" Brent and Josh wanted to have the ability for customers to feel that Comfort Matters is more than just another HVAC company but rather a trusted partner.

 

It has been hard work and Comfort Matters has stayed true to its word receiving high accolades from customers routinely. The happiness of customers is what keeps Comfort Matters going and growing. Comfort Matters is taking the residential HVAC industry to the next level, we are leveraging technology to increase communication not only with customers but with our team, we stay on the cutting edge of HVAC development to offer the best solutions. Meet The Comfort Matters Team

Josh Rose,
General Manager

Josh Rose, co-founder and co-owner of Comfort Matters Heating and Cooling, is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the HVAC field. After earning his refrigeration certification from Lindsay Cooper school of Refrigeration, he earned his gas certification, as well as his oil NORA certification from the New Hampshire School of Mechanical Trades. Driven by a strong work ethic, he has proven to be dedicated, dependable, and knowledgeable, and takes pride in providing the very best experience for his customers. As a loving husband and father of 5, he understands and values the importance of family, and also takes joy in treating each of his customers as family. 

Jessica Rose,
Customer Service Manager

Brent Kilgore,
Business Manager 

Jess Rose, customer service manager for Comfort Matters Heating and Cooling, uses her B.S. in business and music, as well as her years of client care experience to take customer calls, schedule appointments, and compose creative marketing outreach content for the business. She loves her customers, and enjoys including them in the Comfort Matters family experience. Jess is wife to Josh Rose, and they share 5 sweet children.

Brent Kilgore, CSE
Happily married to his wife Emily and they share 7 amazing children and two dogs. In 2002 Brent started in the HVAC field attending the National Association of Power Engineers Educational Foundation where he studied HVAC and Stationary Engineering located in the Washington DC area. He also attended George Mason University with a focus on sustainability. Brent enjoys activities with his children and staying on the cutting edge of HVAC technology, “We love to find new ways to help our customers, technology is improving constantly and our ability to serve customers too!”
